Once again I had a great experience calling upon Ginny's design expertise, this time for my kitchen makeover. I was feeling completely overwhelmed with all the choices I had to make, so I called Ginny. She calmly and expertly guided me to narrow my choices to what was "in" yet would endure, and helped me choose matching and complementary colors for the cabinets, countertop, backsplash, walls and even the painting/refinshing of my kitchen table! And let's not forget the gorgeous and unusual kitchen light. It is a conversation piece in and of itself. Besides all that, she helped me pick new cabinet color, hardware, chair cushions and box valances, and through her practiced eye, helped me tie the kitchen and sunroom together with new paint and new Lazy Boys in the sunroom. We could not be more pleased. Some nights when we are cleaning up after dinner, one of us will just blurt out "I REALLY like the way the kitchen and sunroom look". All thanks to Ginny’s design expertise!

Last year my family moved into a new home in North Carolina. The home needed a complete renovation on the first floor. I contracted with Ginny Hamilton to visit me in NC to review the existing kitchen, living room, family room, laundry room and home office. I also wanted a design that would incorporate a full-size kitchen pantry, which was non-existence at the time of purchase.
Ginny assessed the entire first floor, created plans to remove walls, totally enlarge and reconfigure the kitchen to overlook our gorgeous lake, refurbish the existing fireplace in the kitchen, enlarge the laundry room, add a fabulous pantry for me as I love to cook, and transform the living room, dining room and home office.
Planning began in April, 2019. Construction started in September, 2019 and finished completion in December 2019. Ginny was on site most of the year (from Pennsylvania) to oversee the construction and ensure all design elements met my goals. Together with Ginny’s guidance, we selected every last detail for the kitchen, flooring, living room, dining room, paint colors, home office design, furniture, draperies, chandeliers and kitchen pendants, entertainment center, etc.
Ginny worked tirelessly with the construction crew to ensure quality, specs were met, and to work out any issues that surfaced during the renovation. The beautiful décor for each room was installed in January and February 2020.
Today, I have the most beautiful first floor living space that the family enjoys and is great for entertaining. It is the envy of the neighborhood! Ginny’s attention to detail, design experience, and ‘eye for the right elements’, were key in the success of this huge project. My next project will be a master bedroom and bath, and Ginny is the only designer I will work with to transform this area, and the rest of the second floor.
CTC - Commercial Design - Main Line, PA
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - July 2019
Upstage Design Services was contacted in 2019 to do a very ‘quick and creative’ re-design of their office space. Based on a potential large client that was due to visit in 9 days, I was asked to transform the space into a small waiting room, re-design their displays, and add a commercial look and feel to the main space of the office. In 3 days, I rallied to order furniture online, purchased from local vendors, and to work with the office manager to use existing materials for the design. The day I arrived for installation, all materials had arrived, I brought several pieces with me, and the job was finished in a total of 4 hours that day. The Director was very happy with – project came in ‘under budget’, done well within the time frame, and the outcome was what he envisioned. It took fast work and a creative approach to pull this off in record time, but was my pleasure to do this for CTC to land a big client.
